JSC Gazprom Neft’ places special emphasis on development of affiliated service companies to optimise work and improve performance in oil exploration, well drilling and production.
At present, there are seventeen JSC Gazprom Neft’-affiliated service companies providing a wide range of services, including:
1. design and engineering works for oil and gas production facilities;
2. back-filling of multiple well platforms and maintenance of roads within fields;
3. construction of drilling rigs;
4. well drilling and casing;
5. development and survey work;
6. well-servicing and well-workover;
7. provision of transport services required for oil production processes;
8. casing repairs, maintenance of power, drilling and oil-field equipment;
9. heat and power supply, communications and automation systems.
The total number of people employed with Gazprom Neft’-affiliated service companies is about 20,000 (as at 31 December 2006).
In September 2007 a new enterprise – CJSC Gazprom Neft’ –Neft’eservice – was created by Gazprom Neft’ as a managing company for all its oil production service-related assets.
Setting up a managing company is necessary to enhance the performance and streamline the services of the oil-related service companies, cost-analyse and monitor services rendered, ensure sustained and dynamic business operation of service companies, increase of investments efficiency and create competitive oil-related service centres.
A strategy for development of oil-related services business will shortly be formulated by Gazprom Neft’ experts.
Apart from its subsidiary service companies, Gazprom Neft’ maintains strong co-operation with major international service companies such as Schlumberger, Halliburton, Baker Hughes, etc. The Company’s close business relations with international service companies maximises the efficiency of the service works performed
